
Peter S. Heyman, MD, FAAP
Dr. Heyman is a graduate from the University of Delaware receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (Cum Laude). He completed his medical degree and post graduate training from the Medical College of Virginia. He was Chief Pediatric Resident from 1995 through 1996. He joined the practice in 1997. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), and an Associate Clinical Professor at the Medical College of Virginia. He has been recognized as a “Top Doc” by Richmond Magazine. He has previously served as the Vice Chair and then Chairman of Pediatrics at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital. He has also served on the Boards of The Hayes Hitzeman Foundation, The Rudlin Torah Academy, and The Friendship Circle of Virginia. Dr. Heyman and his wife, Allison, have two children, Alex and Sadie. He enjoys spending time with his family and good friends, music and all kinds of sports.
