Dr. Jocelyn B. Vergara

Jocelyn B. Vergara, MD, FAAP

Dr. “Joy” Vergara is a graduate of Medical Technology at the University of Santo Tomas and received her medical degree from the Far Eastern University, Institute of Medicine, both in the Philippines. She completed a rotating internship at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center and pediatric residency trainings at the Philippine Children’s Medical Center and Medical College of Virginia. She joined the practice in 1993. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP), and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Joy has twin daughters, Natalie and Josephine. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her girls.
